On my shelf: Annies Lane Coppertrail Shiraz 2005 Region: Clare Valley, South Australia Alcohol content: 14.5% Verdict: Yumm-o! A sip of this medium-full body stuff transports you to a hammock in a vineyard on a breezy summer afternoon, where bronzed men in togas feed you big fleshy plums, juicy blackberries, and dark chocolate.
Hmm did I just taste a hint of raspberry? feed meh!
I have to admit - I don't have much of a palate for harsh tannins. [Yeah, I'm a stereotypical girly-girl, so sue me ;p] So the velvety tannins in this wine = WIN.
My mom and I just polished off half the bottle. Must.save.some.for.my.brother.
oohhff...can i haZ moar drink? ________________________________________________________ ** Please note that I am NOT a wine expert. I simply enjoy drinking the fermented goodness, and thought it'd be nice to share my journey down the drunken path finds with the www. :)
